Wrinkle Relaxing Injections
Wrinkle-relaxing treatments work by using a purified protein to block nerve impulses to the muscles around the area of injection- stopping their contraction, thereby preventing wrinkles.
Although this effect is temporary, (on average lasting between 3 and 5 months) repeated treatments may lead to a "training effect". The muscles "learn" to avoid contractions which, over time, lead to wrinkles.
Botulinum toxin type A: - is a treatment available on prescription with recognised uses within the field of medical aesthetics. It is administered via a tiny needle, where it works in a very small area around the site of injection.
After a very simple procedure, lasting no more than ten minutes, with no recovery period, results can be seen starting from 48 hours and lasting up to six months.
Excellent natural looking-results are achievable with the correct amount of botox, injected into the correct area by an experienced practitioner.
